Project Summary:
During the winter of 2018, one of the pumps at the Sandy Pump Station became unusable, requireing a replacement. Later that summer, a replacement pump was manufactured and installed in the Sandy Pump Station. Everything was back up and running for the fall 2018 flood season.
Benefit:
Protected landowners from the risk of flooding by providing pump redundancy for larger storms.
