TRIP Flow Control Structure Installation

Project Summary:
During summer 2016 and 2017, SDIC contracted the design and construction of a new flow control structure to the west of the Troutdale Industrial Park development, which includes Amazon and Fedex, among others. This structure replaced two undersized culverts, allowing for additional flow management and flood storage. The construction received support from the City of Troutdale, Port of Portland, Multnomah County, and City of Fairview.
Benefit:
Increased undersized pipes, allowed for additional control of water levels, and increased flood storage capacity.
